Moderating

When a chat post or forum post is created, the user that created the post is assigned to the owner role. If any of your team members view a post, they are automatically added with the moderator role. Only moderators and owners have additional options to manage comments made by end-users.
Moderating options are only available from the backend of the platform.
When comments are made by users, anyone can flag a comment as inappropriate, spam, or offensive. When this occurs the comment is marked as flagged and under review. Additionally, moderators will receive an email notification to review the comment.
As a moderator, you can log into the backend and review the comment. You can choose the unflag the comment or remove the comment.
When a post or chat is created it will either be publicly available or specific . If targeting groups, then the users of those groups will be added when creating or saving. For public posts/chats, users will "join" and be added to the user list.
User lists facilitate the moderating feature of controlling users on a given post/chat, i.e. the option to ban users. Banning users will block further comments and access to the post, whereas removing a user will just delete the record (rest). If you want to block a user we recommend banning instead of removing.
Locking chat or comments will prevent further comments or messages from being posted. You can lock/unlock at any time.
